Elements of a good meme
When you first consider if a meme is good you should think: does this make sense to people other than myself?
Some memes make sense to students.
Some make sense to UCBA students.
The second thing that you should think about is intention, basically whether or not the meme is supposed to be funny or a meme that you feel on a deeper level.
The third thing to determine is how well the picture and wording that goes with it play off of each other and if they seem like they can be connected in some way.
It also never hurts to check with other people before you post to double check that a meme makes sense to a wider audience. With all of this in mind, you should be able to get your friends saying something along the lines of “das a good meme.”
